Abstract: A vegetação lenhosa do Cerrado apresenta propriedades adaptativas ao fogo. Show more

“…Most studies of forest species flammability have focused on calorimetry of chemical compounds, by thermogravimetry or laboratory tests, using branch and leaf samples incinerated in an electric epiradiator with a pilot flame (CURT et al, 2011;VALETTE, 1992;GANTEAUME et al, 2013;MOLINA et al, 2017;SANTOS et al, 2018;RAMOS et al, 2019e DA SILVA et al, 2019.…”

“…Among the properties, ammability stands out, since forest ber source materials are largely combustible, but a small group has low ammability (Souza and Vale, 2019). The ammability of the material is one of the factors that in uence the combustion process and is related to the propensity of the combustible material to ignite (Ramos et al, 2019). Thus, cellulosic bers ignite at lower temperatures and burn faster, while protein bers ignite more slowly and at higher temperatures, and unnatural bers fuse at low temperatures (Ribeiro et al, 2013).…”
