Abstract:Metoclopramide (4-amino-5-chloro-2-methoxy-N-2-diethyl-aminoethy~-benzamide) is recommended for use in gastrointestinal diagnostics and in treating various types of vomiting and a variety of functional gastrointestinal disorders.
