Automation in Pre‐contract Definition Ship Design

Abstract: During the early stages of pre‐Contract Definition ship design, the use of computer models now allows the design to be manipulated on a total system basis. That is, a change to any component of the design is immediately and totally reflected in the physical characteristics of the overall ship design.
