Automatic Titration of Peroxides in Petroleum Products

Abstract: To investigate the accuracy of the method, the samples were run in a random fashion. The hydrogen content of a lot of uranium tetrafluoride was established by averaging the results of 10 determinations (sample 4, Table II). Another sample of the same lot was spiked with 33.0 p.p.m. hydrogen in the form of barium chloride dihydrate, and 10 more determinations were run (sample 5, Table II).
