The aim of this article is to present an approach to develop and verify a method of formal modeling of cyber threats directed at computer systems. Moreover, the goal is to prove that the method enables one to create models resembling the behavior of malware that support the detection process of selected cyber attacks and facilitate the application of countermeasures. The most common cyber threats targeting end users and terminals are caused by malicious software, called malware. The malware detection process can be performed either by matching their digital signatures or analyzing their behavioral models. As the obfuscation techniques make the malware almost undetectable, the classic signature-based anti-virus tools must be supported with behavioral analysis. The proposed approach to modeling of malware behavior is based on colored Petri nets. This article is addressed to cyber defense researchers, security architects and developers solving up-to-date problems regarding the detection and prevention of advanced persistent threats.

Objective type of Examination evaluation is easy in Computer world, but the descriptive type of question evaluation is more complex and there is no significant research has been taken place. So many descriptive type examinations like University Exams, GRE etc., have been conducting from long time which is being evaluated manually by sending these types of questions and answers to the experts. This kind of exams needs automatic evaluation instead of manual correction to bring accuracy and reduce the evaluation time. In this paper, authors propose CosInfo algorithm a new solution to the above problem which can evaluate the papers automatically. This algorithm implemented the feature clustering for evaluation purpose that calculate the similarity between two documents and cluster the relevant documents in to different groups. Proposed algorithm uses the expected information function and parts of speech in English grammar as parameters to cluster the data, and also builds a model to classify the testing documents using SVM classification to assess the degree of similarity which will help to award the marks automatically. Experimental results show that the proposed method obtains better and accurate results to allocate marks compared with manual evaluation.

According to current researches, much of the electric power is being consumed by the server cooling system at the Data Center. Moreover, the power consumption rate increases when the number of the equipments and servers expands. Thus, the proposed server operation system has been designed to decrease power consumption rate and CO2 emission volume by minimizing the number of these equipments and simplifying the physical composition of the system. Virtualization technology was adopted in both designing and implementation phases to improve resource efficiency of the system. As a result, significant amount has been saved while constructing the server operation system in this paper. System’s performance has been evaluated using a virtual machine prior to its practical use through test bed experiments and the results confirms our expectation that the virtual hardwares will work as efficiently as actual ones.
