Automatic disassembly and recovery device for mobile phone circuit board CPU based on machine vision

Abstract: Aiming at the problem of dismantling and recycling the circuit boards of used mobile phones, A device based on machine vision to automatically disassemble and recycle the CPU on the mobile phone circuit board is proposed. The device is equipped with a visual inspection system, a feeding device, a heating device, a CPU transfer device, a robot, and a visualization system to realize automatic disassembly and storage of the CPU on the mobile phone circuit board. Finally, experiments show that the device can achie… Show more

“…For the automatic disassembly of target components, Li et al 8 designed a prototype of an automatic disassembly system for EOL lithium-ion pouch cells, which could realize the separation of various materials of lithium-ion pouch cells, efficient recovery, and secondary environmental pollution reduction. He et al 9 designed an old mobile phone circuit board CPU disassembly recovery device based on machine vision. However, the above disassembly equipment still has significant limitations for achieving complex disassembly tasks.…”

“…Moreover, the hallmark of smart disassembly lies in its targeted approach. Particularly, the retrieval of valuable ECs appears more suitable, considering the high costs associated with smart assembly systems, which are designed to handle one circuit board at a time[90,91]. The strengths of smart disassembly lie in its automation and the precise extraction of specific ECs.…”
