Automatic control of motors through Simocode pro, and its effect on the performance of the process of filling and dispensing of chemical inputs

Abstract: This article aims to describe the design of an automatic control system for the automated management of motor drives through Simocode pro; and determine the effect from the quantitative point of view on the performance of the filling and dispatch process of chemical inputs from the perspective of dispatch time and the amount of input spilled in the tank filling stage. For this, the programming of the programmable logic controller was carried out using the simatic step 7 software, then the distributed control s… Show more

“…The well used in the drainage systems fulfills two important functions, the first is to accumulate the water from a wastewater collection system of the generation system, and the second is to accumulate the water from the suction tubes of the generation units, it is therefore very necessary to use technology linked to automation and control to guarantee its correct operation [16]. Thus, when automating a process, it is not enough to store or transmit information to a local environment, but it is necessary for industrial processes to have monitoring and control systems [17], [18]. In this sense, the control systems linked to water distribution show that there are unresolved problems, both theoretical and practical, that make it impossible to obtain a high performance in the control of these processes, even when there are various control strategies, not all of them these have been implemented in practice and their effectiveness has not been proven [19].…”

“…Moreover, it is that in the current context in which we find ourselves, which is characterized by globalization and a highly competitive environment for companies, they seek to achieve and show a solid operational performance [4]- [6]. Becoming tools such as automatic process control, and fundamental means for the redesign of the evolution of industrial processes [7]- [10]. In this competitive context, demarcated by incessant innovative technical change, it is imperative to modify and reorient the philosophy of drive and operation of the components of a plant or production process [11]- [13].…”

“…Now in relation to the production process related to the production of instant yellow potato puree, in [7], it is pointed out that Peru has an enviable variety of potatoes, but its low industrialization generates limited development opportunities for its producers. In response to the problem mentioned in the previous paragraphs in [8]- [10] it is indicated that the manufacturing processes in the food industry are capable of  ISSN: 2502-4752 Indonesian J Elec Eng & Comp Sci, Vol. 24, No.…”
