Retinal lesions result from diabetic retinopathy. Dark and brilliant retinal lesions predominate. Color, shape, and size distinguish lesions. Exudates are bright, while microaneurysms (MAs) and hemorrhages (HEMs) are dark. This study presents a retinal lesion screening method for diabetic retinopathy.
