Automated lattice perturbation theory applied to HQET

Abstract: We present the pastor software package for automated lattice perturbation theory calculations in the Schrödinger functional scheme. We discuss automatic diagram and vertex generation and present an example calculation involving correlation functions using both the heavy quark effective theory (HQET) action including 1/m corrections and the O(a)-improved Wilson action.

“…Hart et al extended the Lüscher-Weisz algorithm to fermions in [21] and similar ideas were independently developed for the Schrödinger functional [22]. In the last three years two new ALPT routines have been developed, Pastor [23] and PhySyHCAl [24], and these, in conjunction with HiPPy/HPsrc, will be the focus of this section.…”

“…The ALPT package Pastor is a suite of routines based on the Lüscher-Weisz algorithm and tailored to the Schrödinger functional (SF) scheme. Developed by Dirk Hesse, the details of the implementation are discussed in [38] and initial calculations outlined in [23].…”

“…Still, the scope of this paper is not to consider the full system of 19 unknowns, but to study the two numerically dominating matching conditions for Z HQET V 0 and Z HQET A k . The pastor software package was first introduced in [17] and the publication of a more thorough description along with the source code is planned for the near future.…”
