Autoimmune thyrotoxicosis with achalasia cardia

Abstract: We report a case of autoimmune thyrotoxocosis in an 11-year-old boy with achalasia cardia. This case explores autoimmunity as an etiological factor for achalasia based on several autoimmune conditions that have been associated with it.
