Autocrine inhibition of cell motility can drive epithelial branching morphogenesis in absence of growth

Abstract: Epithelial branching morphogenesis drives the development of organs such as the lung, salivary gland, kidney and the mammary gland. It involves cell proliferation, cell differentiation and cell migration.
