Abstract:Prolonged exposure to alcohol vapors can have detrimental effects on human health, potentially leading to eye irritation, dizziness, and in some cases, damage to the nervous system. The present article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding on the synthesis and characterization of zinc ferrite (ZnFe2O4) nanoparticles, as well as their interactions with a range of alcohol vapors, including methanol, ethanol, n‐propanol, and isopropanol. These alcohols differ in their molecular weight, boiling points, dif… Show more
“…In the field of gas sensing, ethanol sensors , play a crucial role in traffic safety, food preservatives, and cosmetic ingredient monitoring. Materials represented by semiconducting metal oxides, − such as ZnO, SnO 2 , α-Fe 2 O 3 , and In 2 O 3 , have made a remarkable contribution due to their excellent gas sensitivity and stable physicochemical properties.…”
