SOFIA/HAWC+ Far-Infrared Polarimetric Large Area CMZ Exploration Survey. I. General Results from the Pilot Program

The M0.8-0.2 ring (M0.8-0.2) will be discussed in great detail in a follow-up publication: FIREPLACE II (Butterfield et al 2024). The clouds observed in this DR1 pilot study have fractional polarization values around 1%-5%.…”
