Auto-combustion synthesis and characterization of zirconium oxide nanoparticles for removal of crystal violet dye from aqueous solution

Abstract: In the present work, zirconium oxide nanoparticles were synthesized via auto-combustion method using urea. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-Ray diffractometry (XRD), High resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM) as well as Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) were used to elucidate the structure and morphology of the synthesized zirconium oxide nanoparticles.
