Abstract

We thank Dr Nurullah Akkoc for his interest in our work and his careful reading of the manuscript, which highlights a misprint in the Results section concerning the age-standardized spondyloarthropathy (SpA) prevalence in women (1). The true standardized rate for women for SpA is 0.40% [95% confidence interval (CI) 0.21-0.66]. It should be emphasized that the raw data for men and women and the standardized rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and SpA prevalence data are exact in the article and should be considered as presented.
