Authorities at play in Indigenous language reclamation: tensions and possibilities in the Yucatan Peninsula

Abstract: Language revitalization efforts have been critiqued for creating and reproducing linguistic, epistemological, and pedagogical hierarchies that might run counter to a community’s needs and interests.
