“…Positive coping refers to solving problems in a direct and rational way such as focusing on the positive and changing behaviors to solve problems and seeking social support (27), while negative coping refers to dealing with problems through avoidance, withdrawal and denial (28). However, extant literature has already documented that positive coping is the dominant coping style among medical students or people facing COVID-19 (29)(30)(31), whereas multitudes of studies only investigated the impact of negative coping style (28,32,33). If this issue is examined from the perspectives of positive psychology and happiness management, it shows us, among other things, that people's happiness is conditioned by a wide range of heterogeneous factors, including health, sexual behavior, resilience, stress, or quality of life (Blanchflower and Oswald, 2004 ; Leite et al, 2020 ; Tandler et al, 2020 ). It is generally accepted that happiness is found, on the one hand, in the individual satisfaction that is enjoyed in the long term when our achievements and purposes are fulfilled—eudemonism—and, on the other hand, in the pleasure of carrying out rewarding activities in the short and medium term—hedonism (Huta and Waterman, 2014 ).…”
