“…Children are routinely referred to the Sunshine Coast CDS MDT by general practitioners (GPs), allied health practitioners (AHPs), child health nurses and paediatricians, following concerns regarding two or more areas of significant difficulty in their behaviour and development. In early 2016, MDT staff were initially trained in FASD assessment using the 4‐Digit Code, and upon publication later adopted the Australian Guide as a clinical diagnostic process. The MDT staff embedded AUDIT‐C questionnaires to screen for PAE history during the initial interview at intake, for all children presenting with developmental and behavioural concerns.…”
