“…Before conducting the RCTs for hypertension, we reviewed the methodology and results of the clinical trials of acupuncture, 28 moxibustion 29 and Qigong exercise 30 . From 2011 to 2012, we conducted studies to assess the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture, 31 auricular acupuncture, 32 moxibustion, 20 and qigong33, 34, 35 in patients with prehypertension or stage I hypertension.
