Auricular acupuncture for adult tonsillectomy

Abstract: Objectives Adult tonsillectomy causes significant postoperative pain that can last over 14 days, but narcotic regimens only provide a modest reduction in pain. Auricular acupuncture has been demonstrated to improve pain with minimal complications.
