Abstract:Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) is a group of vasculitis sharing a common pathophysiology, which affects small and medium blood vessels. There are three categories of AAV: granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), microscopic polyangiitis (MPA), and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA).
