Augmented reality in postindustrial tourism

Abstract: This paper explores the possibility of building an augmented reality (AR) smart system with a certain degree of artificial intelligence in order to recognize the components and their properties from the environment. The elements of the environment can be buildings, access roads, vegetation and so on. All of these can be accessed with AR devices, intelligent glasses, or smartphones displays.
