Audiovisual Recording in the Inpatient Setting: A Method for Studying Parent–Nurse Communication

Abstract: Audiovisual recordings are under-utilized for capturing interactions in inpatient settings. Standardized procedures and methods improve observation and conclusion validity drawn from audiovisual data.
