Abstract:Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE) is a late progressive fatal central nervous system sequelae of measles infection. The diagnosis is made based on clinical and electroencephalography (EEG) findings and confirmed by elevated titers of anti-measles antibodies in cerebrospinal fluid.
