Attitudes of pregnant women and mothers of children with orofacial clefts toward prenatal diagnosis of nonsyndromic orofacial clefts in a semiurban set-up in India

“…In the present study, MRM analysis succeeded in validating 28 target proteins that were differentially expressed on the basis of iTRAQ analysis in at least five comparisons. Considering the possibility of the difference of biomarkers between NSCLP and NSCLO, and that the type of cleft may influence the choice of delivery for the pregnancy, 17 we further divided the NSOFC group into two groups, namely, the NSCLO group and the NSCLP group.
