Attitude toward heavy drinking as a key longitudinal predictor of alcohol consumption and problems

Abstract: A favorable attitude toward heavy drinking, that is the degree to which someone evaluates heavy alcohol consumption as positive, is a robust predictor of problematic drinking and associated consequences among college students (DiBello et al., 2018(DiBello et al., , 2019(DiBello et al., , 2020.
