Several studies among persons with schizophrenia have found that the ability to recognize and respond to errors is related to cognitive processes, including attention, executive functioning, and working memory (Bacon, Huet, & Danion, 2011; Eifler et al, 2015; Han, Shi, & Jia, 2017).
