Abstract:Renal atrophy with an ectopic drainage of the ureter is an uncommon malformation. Zinder described in 1914 a cystic dilation of the seminal vesicle in association with an ipsilateral renal agenesis. Usually, these patients present lower urinary tract symptoms with perineal discomfort and fever. The most accurate diagnosis is given by the MRI, while CT and ultrasonography are less precise.
