“…In the case of Au/Ce 0.75 -La 0.25 nanorod catalyst, catalysts with low gold content could also exhibits high activity at low temperature, which would promote the progress of supported gold catalyst. The results indicated that supported gold catalysts prepared by deposition-precipitation with pH value of 6–10 for HAuCl 4 solution could have high catalytic activity due to small diameter of gold nanoparticles, corresponding with the references [810].

“…It has become an increasingly severe problem on air pollution. Catalytic CO oxidation has been one of the most effective solutions for CO removal to solve such serious environmental problem [18]. It has also received a great deal attention recently by the scientific community in the fields of the pollution control devices for vehicle exhaust purification, indoor air cleaning, and low-temperature CO sensors [610].…”

“…It should be noted that cold plasma recently has also been adopted to prepare supported metal catalysts combined with co‐precipitation and deposition‐precipitation methods in addition to impregnation method.…”

“…Moreover, superoxide can be easily formed during photocatalytic oxidation of CO evidenced by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurement. Zhang et al prepared Au/TiO 2 catalysts by AP plate‐to‐plate DBD oxygen cold plasma with a deposition‐precipitation process. The catalysts exhibited much higher CO oxidation activity than that prepared by conventional thermal calcination.…”
