This paper presents design of system for access control using heart sound biometric signature based on energy percentage in each wavelet coefficients and MFCC feature. A collection of 40 heart sounds records for different persons from internet, for each recording signatures were calculated during two heart cycles after denoising of each recording. A Euclidean distance is used as classification tool between the signatures. It was found that the distances for different recordings at different times for the same person are below a threshold value and above the threshold value as compared with the signatures of the other persons. A software based on MATLAB was used for make GUI that was received recordings, denoising, signature calculations and classification, Then RS232 was interfaced between GUI and simulation circuit that consist of ATMEGA 16 (microcontroller), which was programmed via Bascom-AVR then Proteus was used to verify the code, it was allowed to access control system or not (verification mode) depending on person how had record that to prove the implemented system.

Abstract:In wireless sensor networks, building energy-efficient systems is one of the major challenges. In such networks, nodes are usually supplied by low power and small batteries. Many factors are involved in the energy consumption, and this issue may be considered as a cross-layer problem, from the hardware architecture to the application layer. This paper aims at presenting a hybrid solution for sensor networks based on two main aspects. The first one is the hardware architecture, where we present a prototype of a sensor node we designed. This node proved its efficiency in terms of energy consumption. The second aspect is related to the topology construction and presents a new topology control algorithm based on graph computing. Thus, our system consists of a real indoor application for temperature and humidity monitoring, applicable to home automation or industrial monitoring. We performed the experiments using a set of sensor nodes deployed over a building and proved the efficiency of the system in terms of energy consumption, network lifetime and data delivery.

This article designs a measurement tool and an ambient temperature monitor of Broiler chicken farm at Gianyar region by applying LM35 temperature sensor as temperature detector, ATmega16 Microcontroller is functioned as the main control of the system and SIM 800L Module is functioned as SMS sender and receiver. Optimal ambient temperature of broiler chicken farm is between 16 0 C till 26 0 C [7]. The made tool will report the temperature of broiler chicken cage automatically through SMS massage if the cage temperature is less or more than optimal temperature limits. The monitoring is also done every second by sending SMS massage "Lapor" to the hand phone number that has been installed on SIM 800L module and the tool made to reply the massage is temperature report to the sender. Calibration result of sensor LM35 done at BBMKG region III Denpasar said that the uncertainty of measurements is avowed at confidence level that is not less than 95 %. Experiment result of the test equipment on broiler chicken farm at Gianyar region monitored by SMS for 4 days showed that average ambient temperature of broiler chicken cage was 28,22 0 C.
