Abstract:Este trabalho descreve a composição química, a toxicidade aguda e os efeitos antinociceptivo, anti-inflamatório e cicatrizante do óleo essencial das folhas de Eugenia uniflora L. cultivada no Nordeste do Brasil. O óleo essencial apresentou como constituintes majoritários selina-1,3,7(11) -trien-8-ona (33,92%), selina-1,3,7(11) -trien-8-ona epóxido (29,31%), germacreno B (8,88%) e (E)-cariofileno (5,62%).
