Abstract: Resumo: O fruto da mangabeira apresenta diversas propriedades nutricionais e sobre este é crescente o interesse mercadológico, no entanto, asua reduzida vida útil póscolheita, tem inviabilizado o comércio a longas distâncias e o armazenamento.
