Abstract:Introdução: O gênero Candida infecta o ser humano com alta incidência, sendo a espécie Candida albicans a mais isolada em infecções invasivas e superficiais. Porém, tem sido relatado um aumento considerável de espécies de Candida não-albicans em infecções fúngicas.
