The phenomena of lifelogging can be described as "to digitally record the people's daily-life activities and events in varying amounts of detail" [1]. The lifelogging systems use various tools, applications, and devices, such as desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, wearable smart devices, biometric devices, and process the data for explaining the individual's daily-life activities [2]. This recorded information can offer the potential to mine or infer knowledge about life experiences and used for a variety of purposes including contextual recommendation, e-commerce, monitoring, memory augmentation, linking, summarization, contextual retrieval, browsing, the judicial system, searching, adaptive user interface, and analyzing user profiles [3]. Usually, these personalized devices captured a single user's events to help predict and find out different patterns, such as healthcare services, social network services, intelligent mirror services, and recommendation services. Moreover, a user must be actively involved during the lifelogging [4].Lifelogging is a form of pervasive computing. Users can digitally record, capture, store, archive, and process the individuals' complete life experiences in the form of multimodal through different sensors [5]. The main idea of lifelogging to enhance the way people record and exchange their data, information, communication with others, and log into tools or devices [6]. Besides, the concept of lifelogging, to gain knowledge and data about someone, is just like automated biography. However, the lifelogging applications/tools of these devices have been used for single-user life experiences. The emergence of Interactive Digital Television (iDTV) opened a set of technological possibilities that go beyond those offered by conventional TV. Among these opportunities we can highlight interactive contents that run together with linear TV program (television service where the viewer has to watch a scheduled TV program at the particular time it is offered and on the particular channel it is presented on). However, developing interactive contents for this new platform is not as straightforward as, for example, developing Internet applications. One of the options to make this development process easier and safer is to use an iDTV simulator. However, after having investigated some of the existing iDTV simulation environments, we have found a limitation: these simulators mainly present solutions focused on the TV receiver, whose interactive content must be loaded in advance by the programmer to a local repository (e.g., Hard Drive, USB). Therefore, in this paper, we propose a tool, named BiS (Broadcast iDTV content Simulator), which makes possible a broader solution for the simulation of interactive contents. It allows simulating the transmission of interactive content along with the linear TV program (simulating the transmission of content over the air and in broadcast to the receivers). To enable this, we defined a generic and easy-to-customize communication protocol that was implemented in the tool. The proposed environment differs from others because it allows simulating reception of both linear content and interactive content while running Java applications to allow such a content presentation.

Nowadays, information technologies play an important role in education. In education, mobile and TV applications can be considered a support tool in the teaching-learning process, however, relevant and appropriate mobile and TV applications are not always available; teachers can only judge applications by reviews or anecdotes instead of testing them. These reasons lead to the needs and benefits for creating one's own mobile application for teaching and learning. In this work, we present a cloud-based platform for multi-device educational software generation (smartphones, tablets, Web, Android-based TV boxes, and smart TV devices) called AthenaCloud. It is important to mention that an open cloud-based platform allows teachers to create their own multi-device software by using a personal computer with Internet access. The goal of this platform is to provide a software tool to help educators upload their electronic contents-or use existing contents in an open repository-and package them in the desired setup file for one of the supported devices and operating systems.
