Abstract: A produção acadêmica sobre sexualidade e diversidade apresenta lacunas importantes, e muitas das diretrizes de cuidados clínicos a populações específicas são baseadas em baixo grau de evidência científica, como ocorre com a população  de Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travestis, Transexuais e Intersexuais (LGBTI).
