Abstract:Background and aims: SLE is a systemic autoimmune disease associated with an increased cardiovascular risk which is related with the characteristic dyslipidemia of SLE. This consists of an alteration of triglyceride-rich lipoprotein metabolism and an increased concentration of apoB containing particles.
