Asymmetric Synthesis by the Reaction of Mercuric Acetate With Optically Active Thioacetals

Aus 1‐Brom‐1‐alkylmercapto‐al‐D‐galaktose‐penta‐O‐acetaten gewinnt man durch Umsetzung mit Natriummercaptiden in Äther die O‐Acetate gemischter D‐Galaktose‐dialkylmercaptale, die sich zu freien, gemischten Dialkylmercaptalen entacetylieren lassen. Weiterhin werden aus der 1‐Brom‐1‐methylmercapto‐Verbindung durch Substitution des Broms 1‐Mercapto‐1‐methylmercapto‐, 1‐Rhodano‐1‐methylmercapto‐ und 1‐Cyanido‐1‐methylmercapto‐al‐D‐galaktose‐penta‐O‐acetat synthetisiert.
