“…The study results showed a positive relationship between FD and CO2 in both groups of countries; moreover it revealed a one-way causal correlation from FD to CO2. Another study (Khan,.& Butt, 2021) investigated the relationship between FD and CO2 in 184 countries during the period 1990 -2017, using the GMM method.
