Abstract: BACKGROUND: Low physical activity (PA) measured from accelerometers and low heart rate variability (HRV) measured from short-term ECG recordings are associated with worse cognitive function. Wearable long-term ECG monitors are now widely used. These monitors can provide long-term HRV data and, if embedded with an accelerometer, they can also provide PA data.
