Association of Jaw and Neck Muscle Coordination with Jaw Opening Activity while Chewing in Healthy Individuals

Abstract: Recently, Ishii et al. (9,10) proposed application of transfer function analyses and coherence function analyses to quantitatively analyze jaw and neck muscle coordination while chewing, which revealed an association of coherency and phase regarding jaw and neck muscle activities while chewing.
