Association of inflammation markers with epicardial adipose tissue in drug naive metabolic syndrome

The metabolic syndrome (MetS) or syndrome X is a serious health problem effecting an increasing number of person worldwide. In the present study, the aim was to investigate whether there is an association among epicardial adipose tissue thickness, insulin resistance, lymphocyte to monocyte ratio (LMR) and monocyte count-to-high density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (MHR) levels in drug naïve patient with metabolic syndrome.
