Association of IL-1β 542 T>A gene polymorphism with recurrent aphthous stomatitis in Erbil City population

Abstract: Recurrent Aphthous stomatitis (RAS) is a common oral mucosal condition. The pathophysiology of RAS is affected by a variety of variables, including microbial, genetic, immunological and local and systemic diseases. Interleukin IL-1β, a cytokine that promotes inflammation, has been found in high concentrations in the circulation of RAS.
