Abstract:Background
Healthcare fragmentation is a phenomenon in which patients experience a discontinuity in healthcare. Patients with colorectal cancer are more likely to experience fragmented care because they require specialized treatment by multidisciplinary teams. The objective of this study was to identify the association between healthcare fragmentation and 3-year survival for patients with colorectal cancer in Colombia.
