Association of genetically predicted blood sucrose with coronary heart disease and its risk factors in Mendelian randomization

Abstract: We assessed the associations of genetically instrumented blood sucrose with risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) and its risk factors (i.e., type 2 diabetes, adiposity, blood pressure, lipids, and glycaemic traits), using two-sample Mendelian randomization.
