Abstract:(Abstracted from JAMA 2022;327:1478–1487)Pregnant individuals with COVID-19 infection are at higher risk for hospitalization, intensive care unit (ICU admission), and death. After SARS-CoV-2 infection during pregnancy, significantly higher rates of adverse pregnancy outcomes such as preterm birth and stillbirth have also been observed.
