Association of Carnosinase-1 Gene Polymorphism with Serum Carnosine and Carnosinease-1 Isoform Levels in Type 2 Diabetics with Cardiovascular Diseases in Iraq

Abstract: Background: Genetic variations in the carnosinase-1 gene, which may also be associated with cardiovascular issues and result in a higher serum carnosinease-1 level, may affect the levels of carnosine and carnosine synthase in diabetes patients.
