“…A total number of 38 women delivering preterm (<37 weeks gestation) and 37 women delivering at term (control group, =>37 weeks gestation) were recruited for this prospective study. The inclusion and exclusion criteria were as described in a series of our earlier studies in preterm deliveries (Dhobale et al, 2011, 2012a,b,c; Kilari et al, 2010; Joshi et al, 2008).
