Abstract: Angiotensin II (Ang II) is a vasoconstrictive hormone that plays a critical role in renal sodium handling and has been implicated as being one of the major contributors to salt-dependent hypertension. 1 Angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) is recommended as one of the major treatments of hypertension.
