“…Eleven different articles were included in group 1 which contained preterm infants with a gestational age under 28 weeks and/or birth weight under 1,000 g ( 15 20 , 54 , 63 66 ). The median of reported mean or median GAs of the 17,156 patients in group 1 was 26.0 (range of mean/median 25.5–26.6) weeks.…”

“…The median of reported mean or median GAs of the 17,156 patients in group 1 was 26.0 (range of mean/median 25.5-26.6) weeks. The median birth weight was 832 (range of medians 802-851) g. Exact numbers for gestational ages and birth weights were not available for three studies (19,63,66). Two of the 11 studies performed multiple cardiac ultrasounds to evaluate the PDA, ranging from 24 h until 61 days of postnatal age (15,18).…”

“…[5][6][7] Therefore, the diagnosis of PDA only based on neonatal ultrasound imaging findings may reduce the diagnostic sensitivity, which was similar to the findings of Lee. 8 Clinical symptoms can't reflect the changes of neonatal cardiac load in time, and it is difficult to provide clinical basis for the early treatment of PDA. After ibuprofen interventional treatment, ductus arteriosus closure was detected in 7 cases, ductus arteriosus diameter was reduced in 4 cases, and no significant improvement was found in the remaining 2 cases.…”

“…bevacizumab, cryotherapy, vitrectomy, or laser therapy). Since the definition of Chronic lung disease (CLD) lacks uniformity, we chose the diagnostic criteria set forth by the National Institute of Health consensus in 2001 [22][23][24][25][26][27].CLD was diagnosed if the receipt of supplemental oxygen or respiratory support (nasal cannula oxygen or continuous positive airway pressure, conventional mechanical ventilation or high frequency ventilation) from PMA of 36-…”
