Abstract:Background: The insulin resistance (IR) is related with poor outcomes in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients. This study aimed to explore the association between surrogate IR indexes and all-cause mortality in PD patients.
Methods: 1736 PD patients were enrolled from March 2010 to December 2021 in multiple PD centers. Cox proportional hazards models and restricted cubic splines (RCS) regression were constructed to assess the relationship between TyG index, TyG-BMI index, TG/HDL-C ratio and all-cause mortality.
